Looks like a backpack on steroids!I've also started a collection of "veto pro pac" toolbags:
Got a closed XL tote for my b/day for my electricianing gear, and i've just bought myself a laptop backpack.
Their small pouches must be worth a look, IMO.
(Horrifyingly expensive, though - even 2nd hand they can be £30+ for the smallest )
there ok for one off jobs having the full bull up scaffold towers or ladders but take them off the minute u come downI think small to medium sized ones are handy as once you load up a largish one they get too heavy and cumbersome, they do help if your up a roof or ladder in construction and you need quite a lot of bits and pieces with you, saves going up and down a ladder each and every time. They are handy for drills bits, screws, tape measures etc., and those sorts of things, but I draw the line at hammers and drills as they then become too awkward and heavy.

I run a buckaroo belt that I use to carry my essential tools for my construction job, starting with my speedglass adflo unit, which I passed the belt through to have it on the same belt as the tools. From left to right, i currently have a nailbag with a square ruler, two magnets to hold cleats and plated in place, my measuring tape (10mts Stanley fatmax) and a torpedo level. Right next to that I have a hook to hold my welding mask. At the center back there's the adflo unit. Then there's a frog that has a steel ring where I attach my welding rods canister, and last but not least, my chipping hammer. On my suspenders y Hook my Pica pencils (best pencils ever) and a blade to open welding rods packages and stuff.
I strongly recommend buckaroo belts. I love their quality, the fact that they are modular and the lower back support that they provide you with.
Do many people on here use them?
If so what's your thoughts/recommendations
Exactly that. Have a nice single side 3 pocket with hammer hook. It gets used when plasterboarding or roofing etc.Not a fan, personally. I have no sticky out hips, so constantly hutching them up. Plus it's easy to catch things as you're passing, or get snagged.
I should have hung onto mine when I demobbed. When i first started i used an MOD (1958 pattern, i believe) webbing set.
