What your thoughts on these ,anybody got one
No pilot arc you could get a better one for the same priceWhat your thoughts on these ,anybody got one View attachment 225243
Almost same cost you can get a cut 70 pilot arc single phase for 385 eurosI hear what ur saying bout the pilot arc , price wise cheapest stahwerk cut 60 I've found is £351 delivered
They have 7 years warranty but I hear something about their warranty service is getting weaker than what it used to beI'm with @Memmeddu
I have a Stahlwerk CUT40 and do regret paying so much for the a plasma cutter; I've barely used it. Not so much because the cutter itself is poor but because I struggle to get the electrical power in my garage/workshop to run both compressor and plasma at the same time.
So what you ended up choosing?Previous plasma was an sip 45 and couldn't fault it other than having a crap torch on it, it died after 9 years. It was all I could afford at the time but it paid for itself time after time .
We are waiting for the reviewTossed the coin an ordered one , rightly or wrongly it landed on the stahwerk .
Yes I Knew it was three phase , I'll do an initial review when it arrives an then once I've bedded it in , should be here wed/ThursdayWe are waiting for the review
Did you know that the stahlwerk cut 60 is a three phase unit?
I can't wait I'm very curiousYes I Knew it was three phase , I'll do an initial review when it arrives an then once I've bedded it in , should be here wed/Thursday
I'm patiently waiting for picturesWell it arrived and got it set up ,so initial thoughts ..The earth clamp is crap but ill soon change that , the airline fittings are also crap so I've changed them, other than that I like the feel of it .yes it's slightly noisy as the fan runs constantly but it's no different to the welder. First job was cutting some 15mm plate which it breezed through and cutting 20mm tomorrow so we'll see. Upto now very happy with it but I'll review it again after some heavy work , I'll take some photos and upload tomorrow .
Sorry for the delayFirst pic is 20mm boron bucket edge, could have got a neater cut if I went a bit slower .
