I think this is a Scottish way of thinking, my grandpa was a menace when he was around, you couldnt let him anywhere near lidil or aldi he always come back with something saying ah but it was such a bargin you just couldnt pass it up.

I’ve asked him. He’s not far, you could arrange a carrier from mine as he wont post. I’ll offer him 30quid for it if you wish. Another 30 to get it to you. Probably need to go on a half pallet

I've sent 30kg with no pallet. Try to remember who it was now. It was a couple of years ago when I was sending out pieces of 6mm steel plate.
