just a plug in charger like a headphone socket type thing ...2x batterys in a heatshrink inside

choice of high /low discharge ? whatd you reckon?

For your application either would do. High discharge are typically for power tools etc but can do low discharge applications as well. The thickness of the wires should give you a clue.
There may be some battery packs already wired.

My Braun electric razor's batteries have died, I just shave with charging lead plugged in. The case is welded shut so no chance of changing batteries.

Make sure you measure the battery if they're larger than aa. The do sub c and 4/5 as well as full size.

They don't usually weld them. they hide screws under the beard trimmer or head. Youtube might help if you type the model in.

If you know the size of the battery, measure dia and length. Typically could be a 14500 or 18650. That's 14mm dia X 50mm long or 18mm dia X 65mm long......I think.

49 ish x14mm 1.2v

Sounds like a 14500 Li ion. Same size as a AA battery.
