Rubber mallet help....

I thought one of these sets would be useful when shaping repair sections and panels:

However, as you can see it is out of stock (everywhere!) and has been discontinued. You can however still buy replacement faces from Thor:

As it doesn’t look as though the correct mallet head is available separately, does anybody know if the faces will fit the correct diameter nylon hammer for example?

Who would have thought rubber mallets could be so complicated!

I have in the past.

They have helped me out with faces for Old Thor Hammers in the past. They are very helpful.

The only tool they did not have or help with was the tool to replace Hide faces.

I wish more things came in packaging like that, good honest packaging with no fluff. A nice cardboard box instead of vacuum formed plastic.

Same as shop signs, hand painted shop signage was so much nicer than a peice of pvc poard with some hastily cut vinyl lettering.
