Today I acquired...........

Yesterday I emptied the wood store.
Well I emptied it and sorted it.
I knew there was box's of items I had acquired bit not sorted. So This is the contents of the box's. In no order, just as they got pulled and unwrapped and inspected.



Pin drill. The handle was shot with dry rot, it burnt well. Just not for long.

Brass "D" shackle, with a "Crows Foot" stamp.



Ratchet Screwdriver.



Round nose pliers, with the remains of yellow paint.



Handy pulley. The brass shackle is now attached to it, to keep it safe.



Nice welding clamp.
Silvert Gas torch.
Yes the screwdriver appears again, but is hidden.



Roofers axe, there is a crack by the nail notch.

Dead Tilly lamp. But complete.

Something to look into.

I knows, I've had one before and foolishly sold it!

It looks like it's been in a carpentry shop so will pop the head and barrels off and give it a clean inside the pump

Glad you don't have a lot of weeds. Last year I tried the formula using vinegar, fairy liquid, and Epsom salts; it worked surprisingly well.

Kills dandelions and ivy very well

They also look and sound good when they are working.

I find it nice to relax in winter, in the garden, fire going and a Tilly burning away with a good book and cold beer.

Another day, another drill. Acquired this JCB branded hammer drill on Wednesday and gave it away this morning to a friend of mine.

A Dahon Piccolo 3-Speed folding bicycle in excellent condition apart from a dent on the frame and the gear change mechanism needing a bit of work.
The guy I got it from used it when he lived in London and was dumping it as he no longer needed it.

I pumped the tyres up to see if they'd hold air - they did, so I took it for a spin.

They are a great little bike, we have a pair and have done miles on them !

i bought a metal spinney thing!

its pre war, and i mean ww1, not ww2.

its got a 'modern' add on, which is a stand for a motor instead of running it from a belt shaft. (im lead to believe it had a similar one originally but without the motor mount holes)

it needs.

a chuck key
a tool holder
a motor
a base making for it
a spot of tig brazing to repair a bearing housing
a reverse gear, someone seems to have switched it into reverse under load. however, i am also lead to belive with a modern motor on it i wont need reverse. we'll see.

oh and a load of tooling.

Measure the diameter of the tool post bolt …the tool post bed height from the centre height & the centre height & get back to me via PM . I may have a small tool holder that takes 1/2 "( ?) tools you can have FOC so long as you pay the P&P.
Happy to take a piccy tomorrow & PM it to you if I remember .

i know very little about it, but the seller called it a myford 4.

I think the tool holder I mentioned is a former Myford one .

That sounds like a very small jack that it would fit in a 125 mm sided cube. Tell me what you need anyway and I'll see what I can do.

It is a Ko -jack hydraulic bottle , fits into a bolted on chassis safety bracket just in front of the axle . It makes changing a wheel very easy , far better than trying to hump a trolley jack around and even better than the jack scissor that came with the caravan . I'll measure it to be sure tomorrow & get back to you via PM . It will lift the rated tonnage with ease
