We are working ouselves up to replacing the full clutch and the slave cylinder in my Saab c900 1992. It's a bit daunting as getting the old ones out was a nightmare.
In the online guides by folk who have done it on their own cars, there is either no mention of greasing the clutch spines where it meets the release bearing, or a couple who mention using moly grease. The Saab service manual seems to say molybdenum paste. Is there any difference between the two? One's in grease form, one's a paste obviously. The grease is easily, and quite cheaply, available. The paste is expensive and would be internet only.
Any thoughts?
