Help needed with wood

Let's start saying that I hate woodworking
So after 5 days of attempts I finally accomplished to make a wooden handle for a knife I'm making too
Drilled a hole for the pin , put a brass collar.
Epoxy ,drove the blade in place
But while driving the brass pin in place I cracked the handle .
It didn't split a part but it has 4 horrible looking cracks
I've used some D3 vinylic glue in the cracks and pressed together using clamps
I hope it will be enough because I spent the entire day yesterday to make it using only a Stanley knife (no hand planner and too much dust to use a flap disc on the angle grinder )
Any idea if my attempt doesn't work?
I would like to engrave the handle where it's cracked but I believe I can't do that anymore
Ps I can't upload a picture because I don't have one and the handle is wrapped up to avoid it sticking to the clamps

Scrape the glue out you have applied.

Mix 2 pack glue with sawdust to match the wood and apply.
Let cure and sand back.

Now you can engrave the designe you want.

The highlight it with a dark stain/wax. That way it will hide it further.

My animal part of the brain figured out to destroy the handle and make a new one
Tomorrow I'll upload pictures here and both forum album and stuff you made today thread.
@DAPPH explained me that brass and copper become harder cause the age so in the future I'll anneal the pins prior pounding on them
That's also explain why I didn't accomplish to round the sharp point I made to alligne the holes

Here things are going...
My uncles in Milan being diagnosed positive
They have diarrhea and fever
Both are following the anti rheumatoid treatment
But I've not any news from them about their health since 4 or 5 days ago when my mother told me about them
I probably had corona during the firsts weeks of the lockdown (march 10th)
I had diarrhea, fever ,chest pain,short breath, eyes pain and secretion .
I didn't pay attention to those things because first I didn't know the symptoms
Second because I was struggling with my kidneys so I thought that those symptoms could be caused by the colics and because I wasn't sleeping for about a week or two
3rd because the medicals I use to reduce the pain are pretty tough .
But two weeks ago I figured out that my mother,my sister and me had those symptoms almost in the same period and for the same amount of time .
We are waiting for the serological test but I still have some issues with bloods exams
I'm profoundly scared about
Food wise things had an improvement over the first 3 weeks
It's way easier find food ,still have problems to find the food for myself because I'm lactose intolerant so it's not easy but till we have bread ,pasta , tomatoes ,salt ,olive oil ,water and tea we are ok
(In all these food typologies I really need bread, water and tea )
Anyway not a problem find these so I can say that we are fine.
The major issue is find the way to contrast the time and the new routine
I use the forum , YouTube , Tanki online and my projects to do that .
I've also dug out my PS2 and GTA San Andreas , and I use to play for an hour or two during the first hours of the morning (just after news )
Those little things help me a lot expecially find support you forum members , seems to talk with friends at the pub ,yes surely different but kinda like .

Tanki Online is a free mmo game (I've just written what they said )
Essentially I play this game since it came out in 2010 or maybe even before
I've played it firstly on PC since October 2010 to 2013 then I've discontinued playing because no PC no party
On September 2019 I was surfing on Google play and I couldn't not install the app
Recover my original account is being a pain but after few days I've finally remembered my password (another email address ,too much time ) and I changed it with one way easier to remember
So started playing it again it's changed a lot since I was playing when I was a kid
Unfortunately the app doesn't allow Team or battle chat ,on PC should be possible yet though .
Anyway you build your tank , buying hulls,turrets, paints and potentiaments
Then you go in Battle there are more modes now
Deathmatch
Team Deathmatch
Controll points (the equivalent of what's conquest in battlefield)
Assault
Capture the flag
Siege (similar to rush in battlefield)
Rugby

I found it a simple but good game and it's free

I'm fine don't worry,I had the simptoms mentioned up above almost a month ago now
I'm fine now despite I have just kicked out a kidney stone but I'm fine
