So,needed some rough 125mm sanding discs 40/60 grit to clean off paint rust etc
None left in my stock(damn),what do i do
I know,i have some belts for an old belt sander(cheap ali/oxide),plus some old paper thin 800's hook and loop
Lets get cutting
Out with the hot glue gun and stuck the old disc to the cut up belt
1st one didnt go so well damn glue was going off before i could get good contact had to use the heat gun to keep it sticky
Glued and then trimmed
Now test time
Well try this
Dont know what red lead paint this is,all i know its a pita to get off sometimes, but
Did the job, disc stayed on ok,so happy at that, will note,as its a variable speed grinder, i had it on speed 2 didnt want to go too fast and cause enough heat to melt the glue,so result
