Source of long M12 bolts

Anyone recommend a reasonably priced mail order source of M12 x 1.5 bolts in 300mm & 260mm. Obviously can cut down fully threaded 300mm to the 260 length. Only want 2 of each size ! EBay seems no use for such lengths.
They are needed to lower the subframe on my Smart car so I can get access to the alternator. You replace the existing bolts with the longer items and it makes a massive difference to avoiding skinned knuckles
The "proper" bolts are available from Mercedes, and other Smart suppliers, but are over £30

Metric fine studding not easy to find.

For that purpose I would cut the head off some M12 fine bolts and weld the shank to some standard M12 studding. Screw the fine thread into the chassis nuts and run a standard nut up the coarse thread.

I though of studding but as Pete says it's difficult to source in fine thread

How long do you need threaded section to be and what grade? Happy to try turning some.

If it is for temporary hanging, you could drill and tap the M12 bit M8 and use M8 studding with loctite. It is an alternative to welding.
