I know where you are coming from. The main hull of the ship is fairly straightforward, it's just the stern and bow that are going to need "specialist" fabrication . I can't go into too much detail, but the whole thing is ruddy massive . The client wants it to be a fully working prop but achieving this in the short build time is going to be quite a feat ( I don't do impossible , but near impossible is blooming expensive ££££).
I can get it built for them , but it will have a MASSIVE disclaimer on it unless they bring in a marine engineer to look at it. The infrastructure just to get it on the water a massive engineering feat in its own right.

Disclaimers ain't no real use as regards court.. You can't sign away your rights or transfer responsibility for your actions under our legal system

Even worse....it's for the Americans. Can't see it happening the way they want it to at the end of the day. Too much at stake

not real water no, I can’t say too much online but you will see the fruits of our labour in the follow up film to murder on the orient express....
Epic project and amazing results and my biggest job so far

Suspect to get it insured it will need checking out by a classification society anyway.

Just a normal survey, I think it doesn't need to be Lloyds or DNV for this boat..as far as I can tell from the lack of info, it is a film prop of a river/lake steamer.
A remake of The African Queen, and this will play the German vessel, The Koningen Louise?

Was originally going to be a fully floating prop , but got changed in the end.
