Ok. Being left handed,
The old guy I work for took Me in under his wing.
Great guy. And invested a lot of time in teaching Me the basics of Mig.
(Although I do enjoy arc. Not done tig as yet)
Being old school, he suggested it would be easier (I guess for him. Haha)
That he would teach Me to weld right handed.
And I’m pleased the fact I can now weld right handed fairly well & competent.
I would like to start welding left handed being naturally left handed.
Plus be nice to have that choice to swap to & from if need be.
I’m thinking I would be able to just jump straight into it.
However, I can’t afford to run the risk of messing the jobs up at hand.
Should I treat switching over just as cautiously as you would using your none dominant hand.
Or would I have a head start naturally being left handed.
Might seem a daft question. but would appreciate input from you more skilled welders out their.
thanks for reading.
