The plastic hydro blocks on the end of the hot water heat exchanger can pin hole and leak. They’re only plastic mouldings and very thin in places.
Looks like that could be the issue from the way waters sprayed on the wall.
Mine used to loose pressure slowly , probably from the heat exchanger but I put some leak sealer additive in the system and much to my surprise still holds pressure

WB used to be good, dont get brass and copper pipes failing like that
It’s case (including pressure cover seal) off to get to that so it should be done by some one gas safe registeredIs it possible to replace this myself with it taking gas stuff off or I believe if I have to remove the case it's a gas safe job ?

ok thought as before was getting soomeone in and dont mind that takes the problem out my hands but
so its a preplacment of the exchanger or the ends ideas on price aprox price ?
