Do you have any idea what sort of price they are, I’m already at my budget at around 2000 would like it around that if not a little bit less.Baileigh get mixed reviews, I’ve never used one of there saws, I have used Macc saws which are a well made Italian saw and would recommend if budget would allow, something like this:

Any thoughts on this oneI have a smaller Fermi saw and it's really very good, especially If you don't have a lot of space. They also make stand mounted saws by they're over your budget.

So it might be alright for my hobby workshop where it’s not going to revive very heavy abuseIt seems that Baileigh are not necessarily bad but overrated, they market them selves as a professional industrial brand when there kit seems to be more high end hobby, entry level industrial.

I’ve got ample room in my workshop I just don’t want to take up loads of space when I could have room for more stuff, and the bench top ones I’ve tried have just been a bit naff I want something that has the swivel head and a bit more sustenance to it. I don’t mind putting a bit more money into a tool if it’s going to work well and last me for a long time.I've not used one like that, only the portable saw.
If it's a hobby workshop with limited space I wouldn't be dropping £2k on a band saw TBH.
Any of the Fermi portable saws will probably be more than what you need. They're a good halfway house between a Chinese saw and an industrial saw that's been made to cut continuously day after day.
