If you want any real "Wild West" rounds I can let you have some 44-40, 38-40, 45-70 and 56-50, either just cases or complete inert rounds. Free of charge for people who make gunleather.Would you be willing to part with some over this way.I would love to have a few to add to my ‘displays’ with my holsters, and yes, I know they are all wrong for the wild west, but it’s the look more than the accuracy.

I would pay good money if you had any 32-40 brass. Hens teeth springs to mind.
On the other hand, I have just managed to get some 32ACP brass, same hens teeth. I shoot some real oddball stuff to be honest.

You can form 32-40 from 38-55 if you use a good sizing wax and a full length die. RCBS used to sell a 32-40 case forming die. 30-30 will also work but the cases are a bit short so if using a lever action you would need to seat the bullet out more.

I have both of these cartridges (did I say I had plenty of oddball stuff?
) but I would really like some 32-40 headstamped brass. I have about fourteen cases which I will not load, the rest are made from 30-30. One of my "things" is long straight walled cased underlevers. I have a .375 Winchester, over land, on my ticket. There are a few states in the US where you can only use straight walled cases for hunting and the "latest and greatest" to come from Winchester is the .350 Legend, sort of a .357 Magnum on steroids but it works in the AR platform and is suitable for Deer.Just to confuse everyone further, the .350 Legend .38 Special and .357 Magnum are all the same diameter but not the same length. I know, I know, but a bit of Artistic Licence from our American cousins.
Oh and respect on the 45-70, it knocks me about too much so mine went.

It’ll be 1.something : 1 for me, I do miss. Never actually worked it out. Since returning to work after Xmas holidays, it is 1:1 If I remember in April I’ll keep a count
