How to remove these?

Look crimped on or something.
Any easy way before I wreck them?

Flat blade screwdriver through the crimped part to release

This then replace with a jubilee clip

They don't look the same type of clips that I use these type of pliers for

They are the Oetiker stepless clips. Just need the right pliers.

I've started using Mikalor hose clamps in recent times!

To remove just knock up the tab and pop off with a screw driver.

Managed to mangle the horrible things off.
Jubilee clips going back on assuming Pirtek have the right connectors in stock.
What is the most common on modern torches?

You rest the other side of the special pliers on the ear, 1 jaw on the top and one on the bottom.
It cuts through, holds and removes the clip.
