I bet that weld could be broken with two fingers though. There’s obviously not enough heat put in to achieve much.
They always are and have been. Takes a fair bit of kit to produce (and cool) a 5kW laser let alone a bigger oneI looked on the web for some info. its not really hand held, unless you call mig and tig hand held. the bit in the clip @TechnicAl posted looks like the business end of the machine. there a a massive "base unit" as the controller/power source.
