its not abrasive you can cut ice with a chainsaw or a carbide blade or any other saw

Explain.."nip"..do you mean take the edge off it or bind it? never blunts my hand or machine saws a bit of ice.

Can be ridiculously strong for what it is apparently. Pykrete, not so called for the reasons you may suspect...

Other than tearing on the cut face crack on. Won't hurt a fence.

In the Dumfriesshire hills where I worked as a cutter, temperature could be - double figures for a few days. Some of the trees would be frozen for the first inch or so, slowed the saws down slightly. Biggest job was keeping the saws going even if you opened the flap in the top cover to allow warm air flow over the carb

Nip as in Nip your skin. Wet timber closes up on the blade if the kerf isn't great enough

i hear you...we use pretty aggressive blades machine and bow so they kinda chomp there way through as apposed to cutting

I’ve been a roofer for my sins. Still got the bow, and all my fingers, though they didn't get away totally unscathed

Wow this saw is one of the best tools I have purchased just found the light switch too. So I can cut frozen wood in the dark too
