Might have acquired something I didnt expect today,

Popped to the local gun shop to look at a cheap gun for the mrs, and unfortunately there was a recently in browning 725 hunter with 26" barrels at bargain price and then got a deal on it and then again got a christmas money back deal also!!

So ended up paying less than 2/3rds of retail for it. but oh well cant resist temptation always.

Now I've seen something to give an idea of scale, definitely 50, and definitely no use for a Bridgeport!

I'm sure an R8 adapter could be made, but it would be a waste of a good boring head.

There were Ferrex 5" Angle Grinder's for £19.99 in my local ALDI today. It has a variable speed control, comes with two different size guards, and a spare set of armature brushes. I already have a couple of older 4" grinders, but couldn't pass up on one of these as a spare for the price. Three year warranty.

Black friday deal, 32 inch LG 4k monitor:

The 27 inch on the left doesn't work properly and isn't staying there, the new one is supposed to replace it, I'm just playing with different arrangements while I've got both.

I can't decide if I should keep the new one or send it back though, the backlight seems to bleed around the sides on a dark scene and the viewing angles are awful. I might see if anywhere locally has anything similar I can see in person and compare.

Got to say, worth the price, and so far I've never had issues with any of the ALDI or LIDL tools I've purchased.

i bought 5 of those aldi grinders the year before last, thinking that at 20 quid apiece they were worth putting in storage to use as and when they break.

i'm still using the first one.
