I only got an electric chainsaw, Qualcast. Its enough for anything I've needed and electronic brake stops chain very quickly. Was maybe £60, cant recall exactly but your right mate
no offense here and because its a mixed family forum id like to put a little bit more scene of what can happen
so heres a few of them has been kept to family friendly
im not showing the full version of this
One of our subbies has just has 2 months off work after one of these in a grinder kicked back and nearly took a thumb and fingerone of my handiest tools is this in my cordless grinder
660 / 880 or 066 / 088?That's not a chainsaw, this is a chainsaw
Used to use this beast when working in forestry a few years ago , a few hours on this and i was ready for a kip
On my list of welding projects is something like the "beam machine".
Metal sled bolts thru the chainsaw bar and ran down a 4x2 to cut planks out of logs

I've only ever used big saws in an Alaskan mill. I'm built to be a climber, not brandish an 880 with a big bar.Stick a five or a six foot bar on an 880 and swing that around all day and you will feel it
They are a bit of a lump.

Climbers around here = Six stone in wet clothes, egotistical, bad attitude, full of hit with an S, cause more damage than they earn, get out of a tree and go home leaving the groundies to clear up their mess.

What do you mean by 2 of you working it?Biggest bar I had the miss fortune of using was 6ft. We got tasked with cutting down a Lime. I was the idiot at the dangerous end of the bar, two of us working it. Never again it was scary beyond belief, the saw couldn’t cut fast enough for my liking that day. I don’t go bigger than 24 inch now.
