I sent some nice shiny ones to one of our members quite a while ago, He wanted to give them a polish and lacquer then use them for vehicle wheel nut covers,
At the range we have thousands of the things, we reload all of the .357 .44 .45 .308 .303 and .223 stuff until the cases wear out, splitting usually, then we put them into 25 litre barrels until we weigh them in. All of the 22 rimfire cases go into the barrels. All the money goes back in to the club funds.
Right now though, scrap is not paying very well so we are stockpiling.
A friend has quite a bit of trench art from WW1 and all shell cases. Some of it is quite incredible.
Who is DiggleDo you shoot at Diggle near Oldham ?
Who is Diggle
If she wants a couple of hundred, she can have them if she makes me something out of one of them
Would you be willing to part with some over this way. I would love to have a few to add to my ‘displays’ with my holsters, and yes, I know they are all wrong for the wild west, but it’s the look more than the accuracy.

They tend to be an alloy. I had a couple of thousand of various sizes (.357 Winchester up to Mauser 7.92mm) and a friend started getting into casting. He tried melting some of them down to make ingots and they just plain "evaporated", i.e. burnt off rather than melted.
I don’t have any nickle ones left but I can do some brass ones if they would do you

You’ve been required to show your FAC when buying primers since 2007 I think.
What do the punks, metalheads and goths do?
