Depends on the model. Some just require positive and negative - thermotop c. Models such as thermotop z from discovery 3 and 4 are linked to the cars ecu and cost more to convert than a new heater.Do you have a wiring diagram? I've been thinking about fitting one but I've seen a few threads/articles that mention they can be a nightmare depending on how they were linked to the host car's electrical system.
