Aluminium sheet price???

Evening all,

Does anyone have an idea of how much a 2x1 meter sheet of 3mm aluminium costs?

I am pricing a job and like a numpty forgot to price this up!! I got prices for ally box, angle and chequer plate but in all my notes i ommitted the plain sheet and the price has to be in tonight!!

Thanks but pretty certain Richard Austin Alloys will beat those prices by quite a margin, i am the 1 of 3 people asked to quote for this job so i need to be keen if i am to win it

The thinnest I have bought recently was 4mm, for 2500mm x 1250mm x 4mm of 5083 I was £107 plus VAT. Obviously that is bigger than you are asking and also marine grade so I would think you quoted for that you would not be out of pocket.

Just looked and I was £136 for 2500 x 1250 x 5mm 5083 so basically the same cost per mm thickness as the 4mm sheet so I would say for a 2500mm x 1250mm x 3mm of 5083 I would be about £80.

That's where about's i was thinking for the 2x1 but you are probably right.

About £90 ex vat / delivery.

Delivery probably about £40 ex.

Edit - that's for clean stuff, with a peel off protector on one side, not just rubbish. 5005.

Dependent on grade I would say that sounds about right.

just bought the equiv of 8x4 sheet of .7 medium hard ally sheet for the new bonnet of my antique truck, it was £80 for cash........
