Today I thought I would uncover the Manchester 10 power hacksaw and make a start in moving the monster. Haven't found a Manchester 12 yet......but I will.
The Manchester 6 I have was heavy. This thing is a real heavy lumpThat looks heavy.
Yer. 530d.Is that the rear of an e39 there?
It's off road at the moment waiting for me to do a few repairs...the b1tch has got my merc to use for work...

Yer. And inner sills need some workHarrison tailstock damage???
It will have the full strip and rebuildProper beast of a saw. Look forward to seeing it put back in good order.
A bandsaw will be quicker. Manchester probably more accuratedo these have any benefits over bandsaws?
They are slow. They cut one inch per minute on average. Set them up...make a brew.. job done. Down side is the big saws like this ten are very difficult to findI tend to think that for a similar cutting capacity the power hacksaw will have a smaller footprint in the shop.
The smaller 4s and 6s are still available for sale. They pop up now and then. They normally go for around 250 plus...I'd quite like one. I'd trade the bandsaw I have in for one.

That sounds quicker than a Clarke bandsaw
