Hi Guys,
New to the forum but already realizing the amount of knowledge and information in here is VAST!
So I am wanting to start to learn to weld, going to be doing some metal art, some box section for tables, etc.
So I've pretty much decided on Arc due to budget restraints, I think it might restrict me if I want to use thinner box section but I might just have to live with that for now.
So I'm basically making sure that I'm not making any stupid mistakes here, I've done some digging and seen this recommended https://www.weldingsuppliesdirect.co.uk/welding-equipment/arc-welders/gys-gysmi-160p-mma-welder.html also thinking to add the intermediate starter kit to that package.
I'm assuming as this is an inverter machine I need to get rods that will work with DC current?
sorry if any of this is stupid forgive me
thanks
Karl
