First up a Silverline 50mm air-nailer.

Missing its tail but they're only a quid or so from Machine Mart.

Next up a lovely haul.

10 Destaco toggle clamps, a Tecalemit grease gun and some sundry items.

the threads on those nail guns aren't quarter bsp I unscrewed the endcap of mine and re tapped it to bsp to fit the pcl coupling

I was struggling to identify the thread, I've a BSP fitting that more or less fits whereas a tap wouldn't. Easy enough to modify, though with a little tweak

i'm reasonably certain they are m10 - french? plumbing size. might be a wierd pitch though.

Earlier in the week a hot wee mail order model arrived from the Ukraine via Poland. Although she specialises in stick, she can do so, so much more... no doubt she's far more experienced than I am but I'm hoping she can show me a thing or two.

End block flooring. Raises your floor height by about 2”.

There is a 10 inch plastic handle and thick rubber strip version available where the rubber strip slides onto a groove in the handle . Mine is about 12 years old and is still able to turn things as the rubber is not in any way perished .

I have a similar one, slightly older with a cast aluminium handle and yes the rubber is still good despite it hanging on the garage wall for over twenty years.

The minor diameter measured 11.23mm if I recall correctly and it seemed to be 1.25 pitch (which is pretty close to 19tpi).

I've not long got in , I have fitted two outdoor lamps and two little led floodlights for a friend who once loaned us a wad of money for a bridging loan. So a free job for her.

She asked if I wanted anything from her workshop attached to the garage , (she's single now so doesn't want the junk, I said make sure she sells the two Dewalt

drills, don't give them away).

so I got this ; puts my little Record vice to shame and rotates so time to remove the little drill sharpener so I can fit it tomorrow.

Seeing as a lot of that sort of stuff is made for the American markets could it be ANC gas taper or straight ANC in a tapered tapped hole perhaps ?

It was yesterday that my son acquired a 9 in his DT GCSE. Actually excepting French, a 6, he done good all round.
Starting A levels in DT, physics, biology and psychology in September.

seems to be a "known" thread? for sumps and spark plugs rather than plumbing though.

Nope, it doesn't go near it. I've just realized it's a taper, too.

1/4 NPT? would just be 18TPI though but would make sense especially of tapered.
