Slow filling dishwasher

Since we moved into our new place 18 months ago, I have always thought the dishwasher left by the previous owners took a long time to fill. Anyway, today I got as far as looking at it. It certainly fills quicker. I hope it will wash better now it should fill properly!

They had used one of these useless bodges....

Anyone spot the problem?!

It had made a tiny pinhole. I have cut the pipe and installed a proper valve now!

depends on what make valves you buy .the cheap c rap from screwfix - toolstation leak after a while when turned

useless things. work away a lot so let mrs rdr book installation for a new fridge with Ice and water dispenser where they used one of those to plumb it in, leaked within 3 weeks and i spent my first day home from work cutting into the water pipe and doing the job properly!
