Help? Which one?

I am looking to buy a Mig welder to do my own car repairs, I have looked at so many I am getting confused, what make, amp etc to go for, PLEASE HELP.

I like the look of the Sealey Seigen 150amp, but i don't want to lug around a large bottle, every shop i have spoken to said i would be better off buying a lower powered Mig, is it because they had the lower powered ones in their shop as well?

hi there when doing bods work you need one that goes down to below 30A but if you want to do bigger stuff as well 150A would be good. Big bottle goes with territory a bit but you can get slightly smaller ones (3ft ish)

Utter rubbish! Your choice of machine depends on what you want to do with it but, more importantly, how much work have you got to do??

None at the moment, I am going to make work ie teach myself to weld and practise.

May even weld a exhaust bracket for my neighbour.

Its hard to find a good reliable person to weld here, at reasonable rates.
