Thompsons drive seal

The tarmac portion of the driveway is ruined (totally not due to me )

Holes, oil stains, general wear ect that comes with working on cars,

Anyone used the Thompsons drive seal?
The reviews seem good but tbh I trust what people tell me on here over random reviews.

Pointless or worth a go after patching and cleaning the tarmac?

I don't think I've got any options on the slabbed portion of the drive other than a clean

Only pic I have of mine, my first ever oil change missed the bucket completly
That portion is saturated with oil, I think I'll have to give that a really good scrub first.

Not sure what to do about the white concrete part.

The biggest problem with all these tarmac sealers/restorers is that they can't be pressure washed to keep them clean.

I was recommended a slurry coat of some description but it seems to be out of the realm of the DIYer because the cold use products that are available are unavailable to the public, I couldn't even get the companies to talk to me.

Get on friendly terms with your Local Council road squad, that's all that seem to use to 'fix' potholes.

Round here they have a special truck that comes round, sprays a load of sticky loose chippings at the pothole then leaves, all controlled by the driver, he doesn't even need to get out the cab.

Lasts about 4 minutes.

I can't pressure wash mine anyway ,i get a face full of stones
Just chuck some driveway cleaner on and scrub it with a brush at the moment.

It was only £15 at stax so ill give it a go, can't make it any worse I suppose

Turned out brilliant tbh
Doesn't look patchy in person, not sure why it does in the photo.

I ended up putting 3 coats down so it should last a good while before I need to go over it again, cleans a hell of a lot easier now with just a hose and abit of brushing.

I should really put abit of cardboard down, I can not for the life of me get a rocker cover gasket that doesn't leak!
