this week is national volunteer week and Im thinking that a few of us on here get involved with it for various good causes and for the greater good. Just wondering who does volunteer and what do you do, for no other reason than to applaud you for giving your free time to make the world a better place (does that sound like a Miss World winning speech?
anyway I volunteer at my local industrial museum and I've been doing it for about a year now, and am glad I have as its been a fantastic experience and wonder why I wasn't volunteering earlier.
so here is a piccy of me when I just started volunteering in the machine tool section.
and here are the reviews for the museum on tripadvisor, so from being the last on the list of attraction in the town when the museum opened in 2017, it is now the no1 attraction and has been since mid January this year.

and it is the team of volunteers who make this place what it is. If you're thinking of volunteering all I can say is to give it a go as everyone has something to offer and you might even like it.
