Miller Compact Blu 181

Hi, just bought my first mig, a s/h Miller Compact Blu 181. Its in good working order, just need gas and I'll be welding.

Does anyone have any experience with these welders? I would really like to know if there's a manual available for it.

Also, on the front panel, there's the usual voltage and wire feed knobs, and also a knob for a timer, which I guess is some sort of stitch/spot timer, but I'm unsure how you'd ever activate this function.

Any help or anyone with one it would be great to hear from you.

except yours for some reason! Are you sure you have the name right ?

Yes, definatly got name right as its in big letters across the front.

Welder appears quite old so maybe thats why.

I've got the compact blu 151 but there's no spot timer on mine, just wire speed and volts. Why not post a pic of the front pannel, someone on here will be able to help you.

Yep my compact blu 151 does not have a spot welder.
