Among other things, I used to make vacuum formed plastic holsters for metal detecting trowels (made my own vacuum former). I then decided I wanted to try making some leather stuff (I had no idea what), so copied a Mexican double loop holster out of a book. I stuck it on ebay, and it sold.
That was it, haven’t stopped since. It’s not the biggest business in the world, but it pays the bills, and I enjoy making them. Especially the personalised ones, as they are much more of a challenge to design and make.
