Yesterday a well meaning friend, "Donated" to me. 300kg of wood. Shame it was riddled with wood worm. Some old engine bits and some tools. But one "Gem".

That is some of the wood. A lot of it was Cedar.

The rest, well not 100% accurate. Those images are the best of the junk tools.

The Long handle pruner and sickle are worth saving.

So is the adapted for planting leeks fork ..that two tined one if you know of a small holder or market gardener

Never thought of myself as a collector, but over the years somehow I've managed to acquire more vices/vises than I'll ever need. It seems that videos on the net have a way of jump starting people thinking "I want one of those !", and over night prices shoot up through the roof.

I'm liable to get arrested for the number of vices I have .. so my wife tells me .

So today after another 3 weeks back in hospital, I have acquired a new view, as I have just been transferred to a rehabilitation unit.
Also acquired a small hoist, it's strange when you are putting your total faith in someone else's slinging. Now better understand why customers can get picky when you have there kit hanging and it's not in there control anymore.View attachment 173925

They'll have to get the bigger ones now, as 150kg is perilously close to being overloaded by some of the lard monsters around these days.

Judging by the weight of it i dont think so as has to be best part of 35kg,
but will double check.

it looks cast to me seen a load of them over the years but the pic is quite far away to zoom in

there a very good mower a lot of the weight would normaly be in the weight of all the other bits the engine handle wont be made with thin steel

Three weeks ago while returning from visiting Mum in hospital i acquired a Cello! driving along through Lancaster & passed a car & plant trailer doing a house clearance, trailer was piled high with scrap metal, old bicycles & junk, sticking out of it was an old instrument, it was chucking it down with rain a veritable cloudburst but on the spur of the moment i pulled over as soon as i could & ran back.
Not 20 yards away two blokes threw a washing machine in & i heard this expensive crunch as the thing burst.
I walked up & remarked "Argh thats a shame" Dopy old sod replied "Do you want to buy it?" I replied "I would have if you hadnt just smashed it to bits". He said "well if you can get it out you can have it". I managed to recover most of it except for a piece of one of the side ribs & the bridge.
It is sorely damaged but looks to be pretty old. Im going to have it checked out to see if we can find a maker.
If its not too far gone i fancy having a pop at fixing it myself.

I will use it. As I do get jobs that require pipe threading. I normally go to my local. So it will a nice machine to use

Yep you are right.
Cast alloy deck with steel bits bolted to it.
Cracking mower, But it has got some compression. Almost need a kick start on it rather than pull cord. My old crf 250 would have less.

Well will give me some more time on the ac tig to repair the deck then. Then paint it up and referb the rest of the parts.
Only thing I will have too look at it repacking the exhaust as is quite loud.

cheak the key way if its kicking back not the only thing but first thing to cheak could be the timing off
