I do have a sliding mitre saw for wood , i wonder if i can fit a metal cutting blade to it, it doesnt really have a hold down gadget, but very similar to the evo rage 3 .I wonder if it will work?

The evo ones are designed to work at around 2500 rpm I believe! Same as wood bandsaws that spin too fast to cut metal alsowhat Rpm do we need for metal cutting? ill dig it out in a mo, Im just watching an article on pizza on telly

Get one of these, they come up quite cheap on Ebay and they're quite and accurate when set up.
Chop saws make a hell off a mess and sparks go everywhere!
