yea just change the handle over to the other side and the guard round and use your other hand

I have a 9" one from screwfix that has a button and allows the head to rotate through 180deg.
My 18v Dewalt can also be rotated by removing four screw and rotating.

yes ,but the disc spins in the wrong direction ,and the sparks get confused

I have a Blue Point air cut off tool that is reversible for that reason, it's surprising how useful it is to be able to choose where the spark go.

No I didn’t mean like that, one ware the the disc spins the other way with a LH thread spindle.

My cutoff tool spins the other way at the flick of a switch.

and how are the discs attached. if threaded and going the other way it might spin loose not self tighten

I remember now, the shaft has flats machined on so the flange that holds the disc can't spin, a cap screw secures the flange.

Can't believe this has just come up, I was thinking of putting up a thread on exactly the same subject.

They have been on the flyer a couple of times, I think I paid about £95+ vat. I don't recall seeing a reversible one before. When you are cutting something and you can then send the sparks in opposite direction it's really useful.

You can usually take the 4 screws out that hold the gearbox and turn it 180*, That will put the switch back on top of the body.
