Hi guys, new here.
I have a 1990 BMW I'm looking to restore and part of that includes getting out the rust and welding the bodywork up.
I've never welded before but after my initial research I was set on getting a Clarke 151EN as people were saying it's a good beginners welder and is suitable for car bodywork.
However, a 130EN has just come up in the used market for £175 - a good £100 cheaper than I was going to pay for the 151EN.
So which would you recommend?
• New to welding
• Using for car restoration exclusively
• Haven't got a garage so will be using on a driveway with an extension lead
Thanks!
