I thought it had been that way for a while now.new regs out .your not allowed to fit other makes of breakers even though they fit in to a particular brand apparently you become the manufacturer of said unit and your responsible if there is a fire or accident if you do fit them

apparently some have been fitted and set on fire so say if it was a wylex unit fitted with a couple of hager breakers both companys deny responsibility in an insurance claim so someone has to be accountable for it insurance wise so if you fit them you are responsible for the manufacture and your public liability would backheal any claimWhy does that stink of being highly beneficial to the companies that sell this hardware? You would think they possibly lobbied for such a reg to be implemented...
