Mine arrived today. Had a quick play Abit noisy on full speed cuts the few bits of box section I tried very easily and cleanly. If it lasts will be perfect for me a hobby user

What’s the cut squareness like mate.
Did it need a little fettle or was it literally chopping square straight out the bag.

The cutting angle is continuously adjustable, so you set it to cut 90 deg.

Vertically it cuts square with no adjustment needed on mine
It has a angle gauge on the mount which is adjustable between 0 and 45 degree. It's a rough gauge, I used a small sqaure in the vice and and set up against the blade the gauge showed being just over the 0 marker

Yes plenty of people have done it just search portable bandsaw stand on google.

Id like one of these be interested to see if u could mod a small table on to it.

My femi saw is pants the auto cut feature puts too much pressure, dulls the blade and most of the time it does not cut true.

Well managed to get an Axminster band saw via Fleabay, picked it up Sunday and after a little clean up and fettle it goes a goodun`. First job was to reinforce the stand as it was that pressed steel rubbish. Set up and sorted it cuts very well and appears quite accurate.

I don't suppose you could keep an eye out for them in the Irish Aldi stores could you choco? Dundalk isn't that far away a drive for me.

I popped into the Alid in Dundalk (Newry Road) this morning and they had 1 sitting there, so I liberated it and headed North again :P

Even better was the price, 129.99 Eur (about £115) awesome
