Dumb question time, how do I check that ? The clutch feels fine to my left foot, it's heavy but then it's always been heavy. It's a bit lighter than it used to be (I'd put that down to the old cable dragging a bit) and the bite point is higher than before but again I put that down to the old cable possibly being knackered/seized auto adjuster (gut feeling but I could be wrong)
My problem is that you can never "really" remember what it used to be like, unless there is an extreme difference! Beware you don't con yourself into thinking something is different when in reality it isn't and you just think it should be because some part has been changed!
Cheers
Peter

In hindsight I should have removed them, the aircon has never worked anyway!

old Peugeots are very reliable and simple things. My family have run 404, 305, 205, 405 and they've all been manky old unmaintained dogs of things but they never left us stranded.
