Source of 7075 aluminium tube

Anyone know where I can get hold of some 7075 extruded aluminium tube 30-35mm diameter, needs a wall thickness of approx 2.5mm, problem is I only need 500mm of it.

I would prefer to use a new piece as it is for a high pressure air tube.

I have seen 2024 T3 would be a suitable alternative.

So, the outer casing/cylinder rather than the chromed piston? Are these usually made of a certain aluminium and what pressures did your friend use them at?

They have a cutting shop up north, depends who you get on the phone sometimes whether they know about it or can be bothered.

Another odd length supplier is Speed Alloys in Hertfordshire.

Afraid not will look at delivery sheet when back but don't know off hand we wanted some thick wall & were not worried about type as it is for Ae. mounting on a data system.
