Pu all the way if it wasnt possible to use mechanical
Sikaflex is said to be the best for things you never wish to remove by many
Epoxy really needs some form of mechanical secondary between the two (metal and wood)
There is something different in alder isnt there , is it toxic sap or something else ? I would be something i should check out anyway before working with it as memory aint my best point
