What about those wire cages for consistency of cutting distance to work piece, I don't have a plasma till after Christmas so don't t know the proper name for them what a dumb a$$, of course they are called standoffs

Well now that I have the compressor, and after the issues I have seen with r-tech plasma's which is a shame as it appears the rest of their kit seems to be good kit, I'm going for one of the Stahlwerk 50ST's. I was looking at the GYS with the built in compressor, I already have the GYS multipearl 200.4 welder but it would be another year realistically to be able to afford one.

Have a look at the ifl cut 40 Chinese plasma cutter but a British company and backup like rtech

Looked at them already, they are also literally two minutes drive from me, but even that one is nearly £500.

That's a bit but I would say it's still worth it there customer service is top notch

Perfect can’t fault it but the thickest I’ve cut is 10mm
