Do we have, within the collective excellence that is almost a third home to me, anyone involved in the domestic mortgage business?
We’re looking at buying a property, first time buyers, that has been on the market for 16 months so we’re hoping that they will take a cheeky offer.
Now, I’ve “chatted” with an online firm, Habito, who indicated that subject to credit checks we could be offered £120k with a £20k deposit. Unfortunately that’s a little short of the market price of £185k, a cheeky offer might get that to £165k, but effectively we need to be looking at £170k+ I believe.
The conversation ended with the above indicative offer, but also;
I understand that this is purely what the gent thinks, and that it could be complete twoddle. Details provided include;
Can anyone offer advice, personally or professionally? It would be greatly appreciated.
