I have recently been fortunate enough to acquire a Harrison Universal Miller (a 600 I think) from a local school.
The machine is single phase and is generally in great condition but comes with a few annoyances, namely 1. only 2 table feed gears could be found. 2. No manual or parts list .
My main concern however is rather an embarrassment, the auto table traverse works well but I am unsure whether the table should go right to left or (more logically in my inexperienced eyes) left to right.
Oh, and how is the best way to clear years of old soluble oil from the holding tank and when I come to refill it what concentration is recommended?
When the experienced millers out there stop laughing at my inexperience and naivety, I really wouold appreciate so advice......
