i remember watching something on the telly and a lad in london found a way to filter out the red dye using cat litter.
he made a giant u bend out of soil pipe and put the cat litter in the bottom, red went in one side and clear came out the other!
gets rid of the colour sure but it still has the same chemical anaylisis when they test they fuel its not just a dye check now days
