Any machining job is always all about setup. Something I have discovered over the years, the better I get, the longer it takes. Another way to look at it; the longer I take the better it gets.
I can see how setting the workpiece in the chuck after using the chuck to centre the drillbit works, I just can't understand why that would be better than conventional drilling if you take the same care in setting up
