Its crept up a good £100 a ton in the last few months.
Service from some of the bigger boys is pretty atrocious at times too. Promise you the world then deliver when they fancy. Then play BS bingo with their excuses.
I tend to use the one main one for my larger orders. Little bit more expensive , but are very honest with lead times , which is important for me as i have to book slots with fabricators to make my stuff

What steel are you after ?

Maybe a sheet of 4mm and a sheet of 2.5, for my pending welding and plasma cart.

What size sheets are you looking for, i can get you a price, but you would need to pick up from Woodbury Salterton

(Ive also got some 3mm offcuts up there . Most are around 1.5 metres wide, but ill see if someone can get me a list - im in Menorca at the moment)

Lucky You do you have a workshop in Woodbury ? A friend of mine who is a welding tech and consumables supplier goes up there a lot.

One of my clients is up at Greendale. I do a lot of drawing for them and they make the odd bit of stuff for me.
I had someone check for me and i have 4 No 3mm offcuts sized at 1200mm x 1500mm left over from a job.
I can put them in the for sale section if you are interested as its probably a bit of a no no to do it in this thread

Yeah, I recently bought some 28mm OSB board for some shelving in my store, that made me cough too, have I been asleep all these years and suddenly woke to a parallel world somewhere
