Having finally installed my sculpture, I'd like to advise my client what she can use to touch it up if it gets chipped. Obviously it wouldn't be as good as the original, but spending £130 on paint to touch up a chip isn't really practical...
Can anyone advise what consumer paints (Hammerite, enamels etc) that are easily available from DIY shops etc, are compatible with this (PPG Sigmadur 520)?
I contacted Promain & they advised Rustoleum Hard Hat spray, but an aerosol is less useful for chips & it has to be mail-ordered anyway, which is less convenient. I have contacted Rustoleum to ask if they have a liquid version and they are slow & so far came back with a redundant question. I'd like to submit my invoice sooner than Rustoleum's timescale, but want this advice to be in the info I send out.
Cheers.
