A while back I built a 5ft by 2.5ft welding table to sit permanently at one wall of my small workshop (opposed to my large workshop) One issue I had was visibility with my auto mask down before striking an arc making guesswork of starting an arc with the TIG. The workshop is reasonably well lit with a 5ft and a 6ft florescent lights but still not well enough for welding. So yesterday I put over the welding table a LED floodlamp run off but switched after the 6ft florescent. No need for it to be wired independently. NOW I CAN SEE.
