Garden surveillance with PIR and phone ?

Sick to god dam death with low life lay gits letting there dogs dump on out front garden now, we can/are going to put up a fence but before that i want, if i can, to find out who it is.

I spotted on TV the ones that sense folk on your drive or knock on your door and you can talk to them through a speaker on the door. I dont watch much TV so cant remember what company it was or much else about it but for that.

I want one similar, well a sensor in the front garden area that sends a message with video to my android phone when somebody/thing is on the land.

any ideas what i need to do get sort something out like that?

I am not loaded by the way lol.

Get yourself a cheap chinese trail camera as used by gamekeepers etc to monitor pens or tracks. You can get them where you fit a sim card, and it sends you a picture when the camera is triggered, they have night vision too. Aldi and lidl do them sometimes, but they do not have the sim card thing.

Now i like the sound of that, sounds a bit complicated, and needs an electrician to fit it. Price isnt to bad but foe the electrcian thats needed.

The ring door bells not cheap and to get the best out of them you need to sign up and pay a monthly fee for the full benefits.
You'll pelrobaby be better with a pir linked to a light camera system or possibly a loud speaker. Or even better a sprinkler system. With acid and flame throwers. But that is probably a bit much

what about a wildlife camera, battery operated, takes infra red so no one knows its there once you know who it is it s done its job.

one tactic to stop the dogs is to go out and urinate on the spot where they poo, (never tried it) mark your territory.

It will do all that you want with just a power connection. Impressed with mine.

My rason is to see who is doing it and have words and then send pic/vid to the council if it carries on. caught folk twice before in the middle of the day.

Could do but waiting for them is not a thing i have time for to catch them. And i would rather give them a chance face to face to pick it up then then it goes further if it carries on after the warning.

I have this camera that i chose to get in the end. I was going to go for this one that happywelder22 suggested but after thoughts i didnt wnt to pay out £250 for one so this is the one of choice from ajlelectronics suggestion at £50.
